Carlton Smith, Chairman of the Board, has been part of the American Pop Corn Company for 50 years. As a 4th generation owner, Carlton has experienced many changes throughout his career. However, his care and appreciation for the employees and his goal of building and nurturing a family culture remain steadfast. Carlton and his wife of 38 years, Kathy, enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and spending time with friends and family, especially their grandson Henry. Pop Perfection is his favorite flavor!

Alex (Bo) Smith lives in Sioux City, IA with his wife Kassie and three sons, Parker, Eli and Noah. Bo has worked at JOLLY TIME in many capacities since 2012 and is a Regional Sales Manager for retail chains like Hy-Vee, Jewel and Fareway. When he’s not cheering on the Nebraska CornHuskers, Bo can be found exploring the woods looking for wildlife with his boys.

Rett Smith began working at JOLLY TIME in 2008, his first job at JOLLY TIME was stacking poly bag cases on to pallets during summer and winter breaks of college. The next summer he interned with the HR department. In 2010, Rett became a full time employee working on the Logistics team and now is the Food Safety Manager and helps in Accounts Payable. Rett lives just outside of Sioux City, IA.

Kendra lives in Cedar Falls, Iowa with her husband Shaun, their son Henry (born October 2020) and her two teenage stepsons, Sam and Kyle. Shaun and Kendra own and operate BraceAbility, a direct-to-consumer online retailer of orthopedic braces. Kendra enjoys traveling to anywhere that has good hiking, yoga, cooking, and of course, eating JOLLY TIME Pop Corn… Crispy ‘n White is her favorite flavor!
